Social engagement as a tradition

The Chinese saying ‘happiness is the only thing that doubles when it is shared’ puts it in a nutshell. Having a successful company commits us to social responsibility, not only by creating jobs and apprenticeships but also by supporting social projects and organizations selected for a range of personal reasons. We nurture our relationships with each project in order to see how our donations are used. However, in our owner-managed company, taking responsibility also means nurturing the next generation with a funded, in-house apprenticeship program.

Swiss Paraplegics Association (SPV)

The Swiss Paraplegics Association (SPV) gives people with spinal paralysis real help and a new perspective on a self-determined and active life at home. Since its foundation in 1975, more than a 1,000 affected individuals have found their way back to a new and active life. We see this as an outstanding achievement, that the support of the SPV has helped people with spinal paralysis to be reintegrated into family, career and society in a positive and long-lasting way.

Philipp Neri Foundation

Philipp Neri Foundation

As small children, we loved entertainers, circus performers and showmen. But what we could not see were the behind-the-scenes risks. Poor weather conditions, accidents, illness and other incidents can quickly threaten the existence of circus performers. Providing financial and emotional support for circus performers and show people who are experiencing hardship is the task and mission of the Philipp Neri Foundation. They receive money from neither the church nor the state, which is what makes this donation seem very logical to us.

Eurasia Heart

Did you know that more children are dying of cardiovascular disease in many developing and emerging nations than of AIDS, malaria or tuberculosis? The EurAsia Heart Foundation specializes in this field, offering children with heart and vascular complaints first-class medical aid and optimal patient housing for an indefinite period. For example, thanks to EurAsia Heart, Vietnam alone can now carry out 6,000 life-saving heart operations every year. Children are the future of this world, and so we are happy to give.
