Anchored in the slope

Custom single family residence | Location: Exclusive hillside setting | Living area: 561 sqm | Volume: 3,052 cubic meters | Plot size: 1,079 sqm | Rooms: 7.5 rooms | Construction: Solid construction

Villa Opera emerges from the existing topography as a house shaped by the hillside. From the street, the residence appears controlled and enclosed, while opening progressively toward the valley. This movement establishes orientation and defines the spatial sequence. The slope is not concealed but forms the basis of the architectural structure and the deliberate framing of views into the landscape.

Clearly layered

The building is defined by horizontal layering and reads as a coherent piece of modern architecture. Volumes interlock and establish a strong presence along the terrain. Generous glazing is integral to the architectural concept, allowing for expansive views, while solid surfaces provide weight and definition. The material palette remains restrained and precise, reinforcing the clarity of the overall composition.

Seamlessly connected

The open plan on the ground floor unites living, dining, and kitchen areas into a continuous spatial sequence. This space extends directly onto the terrace and pool, expanding the living area outward. Interior and exterior are closely interwoven, creating a consistent spatial experience. Large glazed openings establish a direct relationship with the surroundings, making the landscape an integral part of the house.

Levels in dialogue

A clear vertical organization structures the residence. The ground floor forms the center of daily life with its open layout, while the upper floor accommodates the private rooms. A double height space connects the levels, creating generosity and spatial depth. The lower level takes advantage of the slope and complements the program. The organization remains logical and legible throughout.

Light and directed views

The architecture is defined by spatial clarity and carefully framed views. Daylight and outlook shape the atmosphere and transform the perception of the spaces throughout the day. The central living area acts as a connective element, opening broadly toward the landscape. The result is a modern residence of high spatial quality, defined by precision and a strong sense of place.
