Each year, the competition honors outstanding residential concepts and interior design projects that excel through their architecture, design quality, and materiality. We are all the more delighted to be part of this distinguished selection. This nomination represents a special recognition for us, and at the same time, our sincere thanks go to everyone who contributed to the realization of this project.
Where architecture becomes home
The interior design concept was developed in close collaboration with the client. The aim was to create a family home that combines generosity, warmth, and everyday functionality, while translating the qualities of the surrounding environment into the interior space.
Clarity meets color
The design follows a calm, linear architectural language, complemented by carefully selected colors and materials. A defining feature is the finely tuned color concept: soft beige and sand tones are paired with fresh mint-green accents, which extend from the façade through selected interior spaces to specific architectural elements, giving the house a vibrant yet harmonious identity.
Warmth meets generosity
In the interior, a brushed spruce wood floor forms the warm foundation of the spatial design. Its natural character creates a welcoming atmosphere and enters into a deliberate dialogue with the large-format ceramic slabs used in the entrance area and wet rooms. These lend the spaces an elegant sense of generosity through their calm, almost jointless appearance.
Elegance in detail
The wet areas are defined by a harmonious combination of large-format terrazzo slabs “Nuances Avorio” and finer accents such as “Victorian Diamond White” metro tiles. This creates varied spatial atmospheres with carefully placed highlights, without compromising the overall sense of calm. The large-format surfaces lend the bathrooms an elegant and generous expression.

Clear form, strong function
The kitchen integrates seamlessly into the overall design concept. The clean lines of the backsplash are complemented by carefully placed design elements, while the kitchen island introduces subtle accents with its reduced, softly organic form. High-quality appliances by Miele, along with the Bora X Pure cooktop extractor, are elegantly incorporated. Stainless steel fittings and the sink emphasize the functional aspect while aligning cohesively with the overall design language.
Light as a subtle accent
The lighting concept subtly and deliberately enhances the spatial atmosphere. Selected fixtures, such as the Nelson Saucer Pendant above the dining area and the Spokes 2 pendant light within the double-height space, introduce refined accents and create varied lighting moods that evolve throughout the day.

The result is a residence defined by clear lines, a finely calibrated material palette, and a deliberate use of color. A home that radiates warmth, offers space for family life, and elegantly integrates the qualities of its surroundings into everyday living.
