BOLERO brings together three independent living units for different generations under one roof. The sculptural building features private outdoor areas, terraces on different levels, and a spacious 7.5-room main apartment spread over four stories.

BOLERO brings together three independent residential units under one roof, creating a multi-family home that balances community and independence. Spanning a gross floor area of 621 m², it features a diverse living concept that unites different generations and lifestyles under a shared architectural design.
A sculpture
The building takes on a different character depending on the direction it faces. Facing the street, the facade appears urban and understated. To the west, the structure opens up with staggered terraces and a pergola. Ornamental metal panels create a semi-transparent transition here, behind which lie a bicycle shelter and an open staircase. In the basement, behind the panels, is the entrance to the garden apartment; from there, the staircase leads to the ground floor and the entrances to the 3.5-room apartment and the large main apartment. White stucco and precisely placed openings lend the building a calm, contemporary materiality.
Transition from public to private
The basement houses the garage and one of the two 3.5-room apartments, which opens directly onto the garden area at ground level. On the ground floor are the entrances to the second 3.5-room apartment and to the large main apartment, which is accessible via the open staircase leading up from the basement. From there, the main apartment extends upward over four floors.
Compact and self-contained
The two 3.5-room apartments are completely independent within the overall structure. Each unit has its own entrance and a private outdoor area. The garden apartment in the basement opens directly onto the green space, while the ground-floor apartment opens onto its own west-facing terrace. Both units combine compact living with a sense of independent spatial quality.
Space for four stories
The 7.5-room main apartment showcases its features across the entire height of the building. On the ground floor, a spacious living area defines the entryway, spatially separated from the dining and cooking areas by a volumetric recess in the facade. An airspace above the dining and cooking area connects the floors vertically and adds depth to the floor plan. On the first floor, additional rooms, a fitness room, and the utility area complement daily life. The master suite on the second floor provides a peaceful retreat and opens onto the rooftop terrace.
