HARMONIE: Green city flat with sophisticated design
The HARMONIE project was designed for a quiet, green neighbourhood close to the urban centre. The aim was to develop contemporary rental flats for young families and couples who work in the city and, as a counterpoint, a quiet retreat.

Sophisticated floor plans and harmonious proportions result in a calm exterior appearance that blends in well with the existing situation.
The three parties each have their own private outdoor spaces in the form of loggias and a roof terrace. They also have a shared garden area, which can be easily accessed via the stairwell. One parking space per residential unit reflects the proximity to the city and the mobility behaviour of people in the city.
In terms of colour, the design is based on the location. A desaturated green was used as a reference to the green of the trees and a golden brown takes up the colour mood that occurs in autumn. Only the clear white incisions emphasise the artificiality of the project and mark the boundary between the interior and exterior spaces.
