LOTUS refers to the still, self-contained surface of the pool, which becomes the true centre of the garden. The compact volume, built in masonry construction with a flat roof, rises in clear, contemporary architecture across three storeys, responding to the gently sloping corner plot. Two slightly offset, light-plastered volumes structure the house, giving its compact form a layered appearance.
Reserved to the Street, Open to the Garden
The corner plot lies within a quiet, established residential neighbourhood and slopes gently toward the garden. The entrance and garage face the street, while the living area, terrace and pool open onto the opposite, garden-facing side. A generous driveway with a turning area allows direct access to the garage, so vehicles never need to manoeuvre on the street. A planted forecourt with trees screens the house from the street and creates distance from the surrounding houses.
