PAPILLON: Roof gardens offer flexibility and breathtaking views
Le Corbusier was quick to emphasise the extraordinary importance of roof gardens. He named the Toits Jardin, the roof garden, as one of the five points of modern architecture.
Project details
5.5 rooms with 260m2 (BFG)
4.5 room granny flat with 154m2 (BFG)
2,063m3 volume (SIA 116)
The roof gardens of PAPILLON are orientated areas with a high degree of flexibility: self-catering garden on the terrace in front of the parents' room, pool area with children's play area on the terrace in front of the main living areas and another more intimate terrace with Jacuzzi to the west, orientated towards the evening sun.
The elevated positions of the large terrace areas allow views of three mountain ranges and the lake.
