RADIANT develops a precise architectural stance derived from the geometry of the site. The curvilinear siting consolidates orientation and spatial effect, establishing a clear relationship between lake, garden, and built volume. The composition reads as a framed spatial figure, opening toward the south while engaging the topography as a defining design parameter.
Retreat and Openness in a Clear Order
The organization follows a calm and functional logic. A central vertical core with lift connects the two units and structures circulation. The sleeping areas are oriented westward toward the garden, while the living spaces face east and toward the lake. This configuration establishes a nuanced relationship between retreat and spatial openness within the residential architecture.
Clear structure and balanced proportions
The spatial structure follows a clearly differentiated plan organization. The living, dining, and kitchen area forms the core, establishing a continuous spatial zone that extends directly into the exterior. Adjacent rooms are compactly defined and complemented by ancillary spaces such as a utility room, dressing area, and laundry. This disposition creates a precise hierarchy between communal areas and private retreats within the overall spatial framework.
The dimensions are deliberately composed, anchoring the project within a legible and coherent order. The two 4.5-room units evolve from the geometry of the plot, responding to both topography and orientation. This results in a balanced and well-proportioned architectural composition.
Between Grounding and Outlook
The façade is articulated through generous openings and a restrained palette in warm, earthy tones.
