Project details

1x 3.5 rooms & 1x 4.5 rooms
379 m2 living space (GFA)
1'879 m3 volume (SIA 116)

The two residential units one comprising three and a half rooms and the other four and a half—form a harmonious semi-detached house through a clearly defined central separation. Each unit features a private entrance, direct access from the garage, and functionally organised ancillary spaces on the lower levels. In the smaller unit, the upper floor accommodates a room with direct access to a private terrace as well as a home office. The top floor is dedicated to living, dining, and kitchen areas, generously proportioned and filled with natural light.

The interplay of volumes gives the building its name, SWING. Two clearly articulated building volumes are oriented in different directions: one opening towards the Erlosenwald, the other offering expansive views across Baldeggersee. This deliberate orientation creates distinctive perspectives and an atmosphere that balances openness with a sense of shelter.

SWING stands for living with a sense of outlook and inner balance, for architecture defined by rhythm and lightness.
