Semi-Detached Single-Family House SWING: Precise Living on a Sloping Site with Views and Structured Clarity

Clearly articulated architecture with offset building volumes, thoughtfully organized spatial planning, and a high quality of living in an attractive lakeside setting.

Volumes in Dialogue with the Sloping Site

Semi-detached house | Location: sloping site with views of Lake Baldegg and adjacent green space | Livingfloor area: 379 m² | Volume: 1,879 m³ | Rooms: 1× 3.5-room , 1× 4.5-room | Construction: Masonry construction

The project SWING presents a clearly structured semi-detached development set within a distinctive hillside location. Two offset volumes respond to the topography and views, orienting towards the surrounding landscape with wide outlooks over Lake Baldegg and the adjacent green areas. The architectural concept is defined by a readable volumetric composition that carefully balances privacy, openness and natural light.

Two units, clearly defined and distinctly separated

The two residential units with 3.5 and 4.5 rooms are connected through a clear central division while maintaining independent identities. Each unit has a private entrance, direct access from the garage, and well-organised service and utility spaces at the lower level.

Light and expansive views

Private rooms are located on the lower upper floor with direct access to generous terraces, while the top floor accommodates spacious, open-plan areas for living, dining and kitchen. Large-format windows ensure excellent daylight quality and frame selected views of the landscape.

Timeless restraint in materiality and form

Natural materials, subtle colour palettes and restrained detailing give the ensemble a calm, timeless architectural character. SWING stands for contemporary architecture, clear spatial organisation and high living quality in an attractive lakeside setting.
